Day 231

This girl came to help me in my classroom.  What a sweetie.

What I love: She was probably one of the best helpers EVER!  So cute and easy to work with!  I loved having her come help and then having her over to dinner afterwards.

Day 230

Today was a training for work.  It was how to deal with children who are being a danger to themselves or others.  Fun training, foreshadowing here, it's proved useful.

What I love: That I'm going to teach a classroom again that is all my own.

Day 229

Visited our friends again.

What I love: Having friends who love this city and help you see that it's not as bad as you may have originally thought.

Day 228

Again, I got to hang out with some of my favorite peeps.

What I love: I actually am beginning to see how beautiful this skyline is.  It's so overwhelming when you drive in and think, "Oh my gosh, I'm going to live in this huge city." It's really scary, but now it's not that scary HUGE city, it's kind of become home and it's also kind of beautiful.  Oh my gosh, is this blog actually working?

Day 227

I know that you are out there doubting me, but today I caught up on all my paintings.  SO THERE, those of you who thought I never would keep up while working a full-time job.

What I love: The conservatory, succulents, hot summer days, playing in the grass, playing hide and seek, and hanging out with one of my favorite families.

Day 226

Summer was ramping down around this time.

What I love: How peaceful and relaxing my summer has been and how lovely warm it was.

Day 225

Came across this guy on the way home from getting italian ice.

What I love: Eclectic streets filled with gardens and a variety of people and homes.  I wish I had painted the cheetah painted door with a bicycle fence.  Seriously, this place is so unique.
